Welcome to the website of the Gurpreet Singh Dhillon 2026 Municipal Campaign (the “Campaign,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website, including any pages, forms, communications, SMS/text messaging services, volunteer registration features, event registration features, surveys, and other services made available through or in connection with this website (collectively, the “Website”).
By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Website.
This Website is operated by the Gurpreet Singh Dhillon Municipal Campaign, supporting Gurpreet Singh Dhillon’s candidacy for Regional Councillor, Wards 9 & 10, City of Brampton, Ontario, in the 2026 Municipal Election.
This Website is a campaign website and is not an official website of the City of Brampton, Region of Peel, Elections Ontario, the Province of Ontario, or any other government body or election authority.
The Campaign is not endorsed, operated, sponsored, or administered by the City of Brampton.
Official information relating to voting, voter eligibility, polling locations, election procedures, election dates, and election results should be confirmed through the appropriate municipal or provincial election authority.
The Website is intended to provide information about:

The Campaign may offer supporters, residents, volunteers, and other interested individuals the opportunity to receive SMS or text messages.
By voluntarily providing your mobile telephone number and expressly opting in to receive text messages from the Gurpreet Singh Dhillon Municipal Campaign, you consent to receive campaign-related SMS/text communications at the number you provided.
Messages may include:

After submitting a valid STOP request, you may receive a final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you should no longer receive campaign SMS messages unless you subsequently provide consent to subscribe again.

Consent to receive SMS/text communications is not a condition of voting for, supporting, volunteering for, communicating with, or otherwise engaging with the Campaign.
The Gurpreet Singh Dhillon 2026 Municipal Campaign will not use its SMS/text messaging program to solicit monetary donations.
If you receive a text message claiming to represent the Campaign and requesting that you send money, provide banking information, disclose payment credentials, purchase gift cards, transfer cryptocurrency, or provide other financial information by SMS, do not respond and please report the message to the Campaign at info@gurpreetsinghdhillon.com.
SMS delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and network operator. The Campaign cannot guarantee that messages will always be delivered or delivered within a particular timeframe and is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared or sold with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Operational messages that are necessary to respond to a request you initiated may still be sent where appropriate.
The Website may allow individuals to:
register as campaign volunteers;
request campaign signs;
register for events;
attend community meetings;
submit questions or comments;
participate in surveys;
request information; or
express interest in supporting the Campaign.
You agree that information submitted through these forms will be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Submitting a form does not guarantee acceptance into a particular activity, volunteer position, event, or Campaign initiative.
If the Website now or in the future provides functionality or links for making campaign contributions, all contributions must comply with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, and other applicable Ontario municipal election requirements.
The Campaign reserves the right to reject or return any contribution that it believes is prohibited, ineligible, excessive, improperly sourced, or otherwise inconsistent with applicable election laws.
Information associated with campaign contributions may be collected, retained, reported, or publicly disclosed where required by election law.
The Campaign will never ask you by SMS/text message to send a monetary donation or disclose payment information by text message.
Any legitimate online contribution functionality made available by the Campaign should be accessed only through an official Campaign webpage or authorized payment service linked from the Campaign’s Website.
Any information supplied on this Website concerning:
voting eligibility;
voter registration;
voting dates;
advance voting;
polling locations;
identification requirements; or
other voting procedures
is provided for general convenience only.
Official election information is controlled by the relevant election authorities. Users are responsible for confirming election information with the City of Brampton, Elections Ontario, or another applicable authority.
Unless otherwise stated, content created for the Campaign on the Website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, campaign branding, videos, artwork, design elements, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to the Campaign.

You may not, without authorization:
impersonate the Campaign or the candidate;
create misleading material suggesting Campaign endorsement;

Third-party trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
The Campaign is independent from the City of Brampton.
Any reference to the City of Brampton, Region of Peel, Wards 9 & 10, or municipal services is descriptive only and does not indicate City endorsement.
The Campaign does not claim ownership of City of Brampton trademarks, logos, crests, election logos, or other official government identifiers.
The Website may contain links to external websites or services, including:

analytics providers;

A link to a third-party service does not necessarily constitute endorsement of that service.
The Campaign does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms, or actions.
